La Brea Bus Priority Lanes Project Listening Session

Biking While Black, in partnership with Metro, is hosting two community listening sessions to hear directly from those who live, ride, and move along La Brea Av. Metro is proposing a second phase of bus priority lanes between Olympic Bl and Coliseum St to improve bus speed, frequency, and reliability on weekdays from 7-10am and 3-7pm.

Metro initially added bus priority lanes on La Brea Av between Sunset Bl and Olympic Bl, operating on weekdays from 7-9am and 4-7pm. The next phase would extend these lanes to Coliseum St on the southern segment of La Brea Av, helping move more people without adding more infrastructure.
