Free Naloxone Trainings

In honor of International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) the Health Equity in Access to Behavioral Health Recovery Services (HEAR US) team at Koreatown Youth & Community Center will be hosting TWO (2) Free Naloxone Trainings in the month of August. We would like to invite you to share our flyer with your program participants and staff.

Those who participate in this training will: • Learn about the opioid crisis and resources in our community • Identify how to identify signs of an overdose • Receive training in administering naloxone – a life-saving medication that reverses opioid overdoses • Receive harm reduction tools (free naloxone kit and fentanyl test strips) • Receive training certification •

All participants will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle to receive a gift card for their participation.
