The Olympic Park Neighborhood Council is concerned about family and community emergency preparedness in light of the news that natural disaster were more extensive than ever in 2017 and are likely to continue at the same pace, if not increase.

One way you can prepare is to be CERT trained. The Community Emergency Response Team training is offered by the LAFD and is usually free. It is an excellent way to learn how to handle various disasters, rescue victims, triage the wounded, administer aid and more.
