Fire Service Day

We are proud to sponsor Fire Service Day near USC with a grant of $500. Join us!

Fire Station 94, located at 4470 Coliseum St., is the South Bureau focal station hosting a larger community event near the Olympic Park Neighborhood Council. Two other stations in the South Bureau region that will also host community events are 112s in San Pedro and 65s in Watts. Firefighter skills displays will most likely include a physical extrication simulation, a firefighter jumping into the airbag, and donning/doffing turnout gear and SCBA. Additionally, residents can tour the fire station and see the apparatus up close. There will be music, possibly a DJ, various outreach groups will set up outside. Depending on sponsorship and funds, basic food and drinks—most likely hot dogs, hamburgers, and water—will be provided.
