DESCRIPTION:Register your thoughts on redistricting reform: https://cityclerk.lacity.org/publiccomment/ Council File #22-1196-S1 \nThe Ad Hoc Committee on Governance Reform has begun its listening sessions on potential reforms to our city’s redistricting process. This is a historic effort which is being led by the Council President and the more public participation the better\, as reforms recommended by the committee will need to go to the full City Council and the voters for adoption\, as many reforms would require changes to the City Charter. \nListening sessions will take place over the next few weeks and into the summer. The committee will make its recommendations to the full City Council in late summer and\, if approved\, will head to voters for their consideration in either March or November of 2024.

DESCRIPTION:The 2019 Park Equity Summit will serve as an opportunity to further our mission and values by convening a collective dialogue between parks\, housing\, and transportation advocates\, developers\, government officials\, academics\, funders\, and community members who are working to advance park equity and social justice.
