DESCRIPTION:Sixteen years ago\, a FREE event was created that changed the dynamics of the largest historic neighborhoods in Los Angeles. The West Adams Avenues Jazz & Music Festival. The first neighbors gathered with picnic baskets and lawn chairs\, then local musicians from the community began their music sets with Gospel\, Jazz\, Zydeco\, Blues and Funk. \nA lot has changed since then. \nLast year’s event shattered all expectations: \n• Nearly 4\,000 attendees—some coming from as far as Australia\n• Covered by LA Weekly\n• Three full nights of music\n• Dancing in the streets\n• Activities for children\n• Arts\, crafts and Jewelry from local artisans\n• Fabulous Foods from area restaurants/food trucks \nThree full days (Friday\, Saturday\, and Sunday–Labor Day Weekend) of music\, starting at 6:00 PM each day and continuing until MIDNIGHT \nSHOW UP\, JUST LIKE OUR OTHER NEIGHBORS!!\n7th Avenue & W.
