DESCRIPTION:Ever wonder how construction projects get approved\, and what rules govern land use and zoning? The Department of City Planning along with the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment are sponsoring Planning 101 training sessions that will give participants an overview of the basic essentials of planning\, land use and zoning in the City of Los Angeles. \nThere are six sessions spread across the entire city. Nearby sessions are Tuesday\, August 15 at City Hall East\, 200 N.Main Street\, #351 and Wednesday\, August 16 in the Westchester Municipal Building\, 7166 W. Manchester Ave\, Community Room.
