Glitter Phone Case Recall

Assemblymember Sebastian Ridley-Thomas shares this Consumer Alert Electronic Notice: August 1, 2017

Dear Friend, Please be aware that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has released a notice on behalf of MixBin Electronics who has recalled glitter filled iPhone cases. The liquid and glitter that has leaked out of the cases have been reported to cause skin irritation and burns to consumers. The recall includes all of the cases for iPhone 6, 6s and 7 sold from October 2015 to June 2017. Similar reports of skin irritation and burns have also been made by other retailers who sell the case including Amazon, Henri Bendel, Nordstrom Rack, Tory Burch and Victoria’s Secret.
