Voters will now have between three and ten days before election day to cast their ballots. Additionally, voters will be able to pre-select their choices for each office through an interactive sample ballot, which will produce a unique QR code that can be scanned by the new voting machines.

World Harvest To Get New Truck with OPNC Help

OPNC voted to support World Harvest Charities and Family Services with a Neighborhood Purposes Grant of $4,000 towards a commercial box truck with lift gate. World Harvest is a non profit that collects and distributes food through their facility and partner agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and after school programs.

OPNC Supports Renewable Energy by 2030

At the Olympic Park Neighborhood Council meeting on November 4 the council voted on a resolution against building a gas powered plant and in support of evaluating moving to all renewable energy by 2030.
